Adding more candidates to a list

How to extend an existing list without duplicating candidates or paying twice for the same profile.

Updated

When a search returns the maximum number of candidates you asked for, that's a sign there are more profiles available with those same filters. To bring them in, use the “Add more candidates” button inside the list.

A list header, with the Add candidates button

The search re-runs with the criteria you already set, so there's nothing to rewrite: you just say how many more candidates you want.

Duplicates aren't charged

If any of the new candidates was already in the list, no credits are charged for them. That's why the number you ask for and the number that gets added don't always match.

You ask for 200 more candidates and the list only grows by 180: 20 of the profiles found were already in it. Those 20 cost you nothing.

When the candidates run out

If every available candidate for that combination of headline and keywords has been pulled, hitting “Add more candidates” shows a notice saying so. It isn't an error: you've simply exhausted that search.

To keep pulling profiles you'll need to change one of three things:

  • the Job Titles,
  • the Keywords,
  • or the location.

How to loosen each one without losing precision is in how the search criteria work.
